This was a mock-up for a trade exhibition that was to be situated in the main foyer of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
The reason it was so essential for the client was that, aside from seeing how all the exhibition stands would look in the event space, they wanted to erect a temporary wall between the main pillars at the front. This not only meant that they would have far greater wall space but would also give them more control over lighting effects by eliminating some of the natural light.
This was definitely something that needed to be tested before going to the expense of building for the event.
